b) According to Ms Lily Chu, how does Touch Leadership and Mentoring prefer to help troubled teens?

2) Have you confided in your friends or family members about the problems you face in school/ life? Why or why not?

Have you been betrayed by your friends before? If yes, how? (You may change the names of the people involved for privacy)

Students from secondary 3 to 4 would mostly choose not to confide n those who are not close to them or strangers as they also find it very wimpy to call . And at these age students would most likely to be look cool , looked experienced ,worldly wise and unfazed by anything is their main objective these are the two reasons why teen are reluctantto call helplines despite the anonymity and professional help . According to Ms Lily Chu they prefer to help youths by a more direct , effective means , through programmes like workshops in schools , face to face counselling and home visits . I have confided in my parents of my family and close friends in schools about the propblems i face in school . It is because it is just like the newspaper mentioned those of our age would not ever confide in those that are not really close to us as we have no relationship with them and do not find the needs to talk to them . So hotlines offered by those counselling programmes teenagers like us would not use the contacts listed or provided by them . Yes i have been betrayed by my friends before , i thought that we could really be good and trusted friends and he would be able to help me keep a secret but in the end it turned out i was wrong to have made that kind of assumption . Not only did he divulge my secret but mede my other friends turn against me . So i have been cruelly betrayed as a friend whom i thought i can be close with .
